There are a few types that we highlight this week:

First: the CAT power, MEOW!

Think Grace Kelly in Monaco or Sophia Loren in Capri. Cat eyes were classy in the sixties, and now these retro-cool shades are back in school and even at the swimming pools.







Next: Wrap glasses

This is for the guys. The likes of Oakley, is a direct descendant of ski goggles and other sporty styles. The wraparounds not only shield the wearers from the sun glare but also as a personal lineof defense against camera-wielding paparazzi. So if you think you're good-looking, wear the wrappers to save yourselves!

Third: We go back to a time when Leonardo deCaprio was a pilot. And when Elvis Presley wannabes are desperately seeking for this type of shades. The AVIATORs shade is so back in style.

Skinny jeans is hot in the back to school fashion mode. Even if it's not for everyone (guys and voluptuous people), this jeans can make something look hot even if paired with just t-shirts.

a guy wearing low baggy jeans with boxers peeking out. It's not cool. In fact, it's GROSS with a capital G! who made them think it's cool?? especially if they're wearing crocodile undies?? it can be traumatizing. I might have spoken from experience. The lump of fat, I mean flesh, was sore-eyes-inducing. or even scarring to the memory.

Knee length socks are so not the vogue too. Only if you're a fair japanese thin lady or Hermione in Harry Potter can you pull it off without looking like you have two sacks of possibly rice jutting out from that mini skirt of yours. Seriously, be normal!



This first week sees only one item and that's what women intimately call PUMPS (refer to the fashion dictionary above for definition).

It's the fashion kiss of death in Hollywood: Showing up on the red carpet, only to find that some other starlet is wearing the exact same gown. But when it comes to shoes, all of the A-list seems to have the same pair, and no one seems to mind.

Simple and elegant, these babies have been proven to be irresistible to the hottest hollywood babes like Angelina Jolie, Nicole Richie and Ashley Olsen. Knowing your shoes is ready for pictures no matter how much they cost seems to be the in thing in Hollywood now.

on HOW to STAY FRESH throughout the TERM



* Listen to your normal body clock as much possible - if you need to wake up, up. If you need to sleep, sleep. If you need to go to the toilet, go.

* Acknowledge when you need rest - don't go to sleep too late, or in class.

* Drink lots of water and fluids - non-alcoholic. Serious!

* Don’t drink alcohol on school days and nights - tempting with Ice Cold Bar and Frujh around. But practise to defy temptation!

* Maintain an exercise routine - even if it’s just walking around the campus

* Wear stylish and comfortable clothes - don’t look like you just came from the gym. You will be more quickly accepted and get better service when you dress professionally. There's one more reason why should be stylish, US. we'll be snapping pictures. Yes! Be very afraid.

• Don’t sign up for too many things - manage your schedule, make sure you don't have too much on your plate

*Eat healthy - Lotsa veggies and fruits
